Our Students

The Students

Once a student is selected to participate in Take Stock in Children, they sign a contract promising to remain drug and crime free, maintain good grades, meet with a mentor and exhibit positive behavior.  Each student is then matched with a mentor from the community, who will meet with the student once a week at school throughout the school year. Upon graduation, students earn four years of tuition for two years of community college and two years at a Florida university if they have fulfilled their contract with Take Stock in Children.

has over 220 active middle and high school students in the program.

125 students have graduated and attended post-secondary education
