Graduates

Our mission is simple: Scholarships, Mentors and Hope. Ninety-seven percent (97%) of Take Stock in Children scholarship recipients graduate from high school and attend college or vocational/technical school.

TSIC graduates work hard to be successful and keep their promises. Once they cross the stage and receive their diploma, they have four years of college tuition waiting for them. They have remained drug and crime free, have attended school regularly and received good grades while meeting regularly with a TSIC Mentor and Student Advocate.

Many of our students will be the first in their family to graduate from college; some will be the first to even graduate from high school.   We are proud of each and every one of these students.

To date, 125 TSIC of Sarasota County graduates are making a positive difference in the world, thanks to their caring mentors, student advocates and the donors that took a chance on changing the life of a at-risk student.
